What size shoe should I order?
If you are familiar with the designer (brand) that you are ordering, order the size you would usually purchase. If you are unsure of your size or if your exact size is not offered, consider the following:

• Shoe sizes increase ¼ inch for every half size
• If you need a half size and one is not offered, order next higher full size.
• If you need a narrow width, you may want to try ordering a half size down.
• If you need a wide width, you may want to try ordering a half size up.
• If one foot is larger than the other, order for the larger foot.
• If a shoe style is not running true to size, contact Shoe Explosion and a fit recommendation will be provided.

What designers do you carry?
Shoe Explosion carries a wide range of affordable high-fashion ladies’ footwear. Products being offered online are listed in the Designers section of our website main menu (above-left). For other designers or for different styles by a designer, please contact us to check on availability.

How can I get on (or off) the Shoe Explosion mailing list?
Shoe Explosion will periodically email its customers information regarding upcoming products, sales, and events. See our home page for information on how to join our mailing list. Contact us via phone or email if you are already on the mailing list and wish to be removed.

What are Instant Gift Certificates?
Instant Gift Certificates work just like gift cards. You buy them online (click here to buy one), and once we've received your payment, we'll email you a link to your gift certificate. Once you receive the link you can either print your gift certificate right from your PC, or email it to the recipient. The whole process takes no more than a minute or two, so they're perfect for all you last-minute shoppers.

Shoe Explosion Instant Gift Certificates can be redeemed online, they never expire, and you can check your remaining balance anytime (click here to check your balance).

I'm using my Gift Certificate, so why am I still being charged for shipping?
Our Instant Gift Certificates can only be used to pay for the cost of the items plus any applicable taxes. But when you redeem your gift certificate, you also receive special discounted rates on shipping costs.

Will I be charged sales tax?
As a Connecticut-based Web Retailer, we only charge sales tax under the following circumstances:
    •  Connecticut residents will be charged 6% sales tax only on items priced at $50.00 or more.
    •  New York residents will be charged 4% sales tax on all items.
    •  Florida residents will be charged 6% sales tax on all items.

What form of payment do you accept?
Shoe Explosion accepts MasterCard, VISA, American Express, Discover, Paypal, money orders, and business/personal checks. Orders involving check payments will ship once the check has cleared.

When can I expect to receive my order?
Orders paid by credit card, Paypal, or money order will be processed on the morning following the day of the order, for orders received Monday through Thursday. Orders received Friday through Sunday will be processed on the following Monday. Orders paid by check will be processed once the check has cleared. Regular shipping takes two to three business days.

How can I check on the status of an order?
Contact Shoe Explosion to check on the status of an order. Order specifics (date received, date sent, tracking information, etc.) will be provided.
